Waiter/Server

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and attentive Waiter / Server to provide an exceptional dining experience. You will serve as the primary point of contact for guests, guide them through our menu, take accurate orders, and deliver food and beverages efficiently while maintaining a warm and professional demeanor.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present menus.
- Answer detailed questions about food preparation, ingredients, and potential allergens.
- Take precise food and beverage orders using our POS system.
- Deliver dishes and drinks promptly to tables.
- Monitor guest needs, refill drinks, and clear plates dynamically.
- Prepare final checks, process payments accurately, and issue change.
- Perform side-work including rolling silverware, polishing glassware, and wiping down service stations.
Physical Requirements
- Constant Standing: Ability to stand and walk for 66% to 100% of an 5-8 hour shift on varied floor surfaces.
- Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, carry, and balance heavy food trays weighing up to 30 lbs.
- Mobility: Frequent bending, stooping, reaching overhead, and navigating crowded dining areas safely.
- Stamina: Capability to maintain high energy and a fast pace during peak meal rushes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Proven experience as a server or in a customer-facing role is a plus.
- Strong communication and active listening skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change.
Experience
- 1 or more years of experience in a restaurant or similar position
Grooming
- All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per restaurant standards. Professional uniform attire required.
